Between different fine arts jobs, there are a variety of salaries. If you go down the fine artist track, with no employer and no set salary, do realize that you are taking a big chance doing that instead of just getting employed doing art for a company. C omissions for that career are usually taken as a percentage, and the employer takes the commission fee. If you work as a professor you can earn somewhere up to $88,000 a year, and with a job doing craft art, things like large scrapbook conventions, you can earn up to $32,000. So be considerate of the average pay before you set your heart on a career.
